   West Lake Culture Plaza is a great culture construction program during the tenth five-year-plan period by Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Zhejiang Provincial Government. It located on the north part of the Hangzhou Wulin Square, 2 km away form West Lake. The Culture Plaza covers an area of 33 acre, including 370, 000 m2 building area. The main building of Yaojiang Commercial Building has a total area of 108,487 m2.  The project studies the energy efficiency method for glass curtain, compares the economic value of three feasible air conditioning options, estimates first cost and operation cost, and simulates the annual energy consumption. The project chooses electricity-driven plan, which is the most economical one, together with direct fired absorption water heater/chiller unit, estimates the annual electricity cost, hot water cost, natural gas cost and general energy consumption cost of the original design, lithium bromide absorption unit + glass curtain wall scheme and lithium bromide absorption unit + heat insulation glass curtain wall scheme.
